This is a very strong pose. You may wish to prepare for this pose by first closing your eyes. Envision something that you are striving to achieve in life. See yourself doing or being that which you desire. Feel it already being so.

Or, if there is an affirmation that you are working with, repeat the affirmation, as you feel it becoming so. “I am youthful,” for example. See your body, your hair and skin radiantly reflecting that which you desire. Don’t suppress your desire or let your mind modify your ideal.

Gently re-open your eyes.
